I joined SETI@home two years ago and I have more than 1000 workunits analysed. However, these statistics don't appear in my account BOINC SETI@home. In addition, I have already sent several results and my statistics say my credit is 0.00. What can I do? Thanks and greetings from Spain |

On the webpage "Participate in SETI@home" there are 2 possibilities: create an account or activate an account. Looking to the date you joined, you used the create one. You should have used the other. You can still changing this but will loose the claimed credit you have. As for the credit, things are going like this: 1. Reporting the WU's is needed, 2. Once this is done your credits are claimed, 3. Your results must be compared to the results of 2 other PC's, 4. If these results matches, then credit is granted. Therefore, getting credit can take up to 2 weeks if everything is working fine. Greetings from Belgium. Help Desk: use "Most recent answer first" sorting. |

Everything Thierry has said is 100% correct. And normally it DOES take 1-many days to get credit (more often than not closer to 1) But currently the VALIDATOR... the machine that gives credit to everyone, is down and being code fixed. So NOONE will get credit until that machine is back online. Watch the news page on the front to see when it is turned on... then simply wait! --- Teamless?
