Boy, it's a hot day today. I think I'll have to go swimming when I get home. I had a great time at Yosemite this weekend. We hiked the Vernal Falls and Nevada Falls loop. It took seven hours from the time we left the car to the time we got back to it. That was Saturday. On Sunday we drove up to Glacier Point, which only opened on Friday. Spectacular views. Then we went back to the Village for a while and headed home so my son could finish his homework.

It looks like thumper is still down, and its replacement will arrive tomorrow sometime. So hopefully by Wednesday I'll be able to get my SETHI jobs going again. I made a few more GALFA datacubes last night, and a colleague at Wisconsin just asked me to make some datacubes for a different region, so I have some jobs running at Arecibo to complete that request.

I missed all the hockey games this weekend, and it looks like the second round is almost done. It would be nice for the Bay Area if San Jose can come back and beat the Red Wings, but an all-California battle for the Western Conference championship might not be the best thing for the game. The Ottawa-Buffalo matchup is going to be great.
