This is a bit of a unusual problem guys but here it is..

according to my zone alarm firewall boinc is constantly trying to communicate to the internet but there is no traffic at all coming or going I have boinc on 2 computers and it does it on both of them any thoughts??

P.S its not getting in the way of anything and does not affect my computer or connection just thought somebody may have run across it before.
help is appreciated

BOINC and BOINCManager talk via TCP/IP. What ZA is seeing is internal traffic. If you ignore 127.0.0.1 this will stop.

I understand what you mean but am not quite sure how to ignore the connection within zone alarm?

Any thoughts

You can't. This is a limitation of ZA.
