I started up another computer and found a setting for percentage of use. I set it to 30% to keep it from running as hot as my other computers.
I would like to adjust this up a bit, but cannot find that setting in the preferences area.
Hope someone has the answer.

Thanks, Bob

Hi Bob,

some of your hosts are running older BONIC versions (e.g. 5.4.11, 5.2.13). You need at least BOINC version 5.6.5 to be able to use the CPU throttling setting.

The setting you are looking for is either in the preferences in the BOINC simple view (BOINC version 5.6.5 or higher required, menu view -> simple view -> preferences at the bottom of this window) or in your web based general preferences at your account.
