Need help setting personal preferences for SETI graphics. I have tried several times to follow the SETI instruction set w/o success. The graphics I get are strictly rainbow/boilerplate default -- I CAN set "preferences" within SETI with no problem -- I just cannot get these settings to "take" within BOINC (e.g., running on my computer). SETI claims that once you access their site after you have changed preferences; you will get the changes on your computer -- has not happened for me. BOINC claims if you "update" while running the SETI task you will get then current information for your graphics -- has not happened for me. Any input appreciated.

In the UI of the BOINC manager on your computer, you have to click update.

tring for three days now -- I know communications is OK with SETI because
BOINC has called for and received new tasks from SETI. I have no idea
why the preferences that I set within SETI seem to be simply ignored.

The colors have never actually been settable, Are you jut trying to set those, or were you trying to set something else?

Trying to set "Graphics Preferences" as custom w/individual parameters and
"color preferences" as Desert Sands....Thanks for the concerns

The custom settings ought to take, but the colors won't.
