The troulbe is if we all use water powered cars we will be paying the same price per volume but the overall cost of water would go up :(

But:

- Water powered cars would have water for exhaust.
- We wouldn't have to buy oil from the middle east.
- We wouldn't have to worry about oil spills.
- We could use salt water to power our vehicles.
- Our children would be able to breath better.
- The trees and plants that supply our oxygen would be better off.

What are your thoughts on that?

Respectfully,

Mr. Gray

I think a water powered thermal engine is not possible for thermodynamic reasons. Water does not burn and to separate it into hydrogen and oxygen you have to provide electricity, that is 5 kWh per metric cube of hydrogen in standard temperature and pressure conditions. This is the gauntlet for all fuel cell vehicles. According to "Nature" magazine, to power all USA cars with hydrogen obtained using wind power you would need to build 100 million wind towers.

I saw more than half the video. I don't have time to look at all those videos. So those guys say that it takes less energy (with their method) to electrolyze water than the energy received from burning or recombining that hydrogen back with oxygen to power vehicles, etc and getting the water back again(?) If so it seems like they'd have already designed things that use these principles.

No wonder the oil companies are loving life.

I suppose we get what we deserve.

Maybe when they said "run cars on water" they really meant "run cars with hydrogen and oxygen and get water". I'd think it'd be awfully expensive to run vehicles on vino.

Actually about five percent of swedens vehicle ethanol production is vino. Either unsold and deemed to old or, impounded smuggled alcohol.
