What does it mean that I am "overcommitted"?


It means it is a computer and after some calculations it thinks you cannot finish the work you have on time, within the deadlines and therefore is not downloading any new work. The calculations are not usually accurate, just ignore the message and let Boinc do its own thing. It should be just fine.

It means it is a computer and after some calculations it thinks you cannot finish the work you have on time, within the deadlines and therefore is not downloading any new work. The calculations are not usually accurate, just ignore the message and let Boinc do its own thing. It should be just fine.

The calculations are very conservative as not all of the information that is available is accurate (most of it is known to be inaccurate).
