Lucky you. I'm still getting "no work" for my intel macs, and my windows machines. Grrrrrr....

I was *finally* starting to recover my RAC from those horrible WUs....

Can't get work either. Checked server status...

Server status page shows the upload/download scheduler as being "disabled".

Got some work on one machine, at around 10:30 PM PST. All the rest (including that one) is still getting "no work".

Just curious, does anyone have a pager number (how '90s!), or cell number of someone who can fix it? It would be kinda handy right about now...

I just get my Core 2 Duo 6700 up and running, and no work...I guess I will wait until tomorrow and see what happens.

I thought the problem had something to do with my antivirus protection locally. My computer just finished a full system scan and then I was left with a Boinc screensaver saying that "Boinc is idle."

I am getting all the same messages too. It must be something on their end.

Well, everyone that can hear (or see) my message, Have a great New Year Holiday!

Just got a couple blades back on line, had to restart a switch after putting the old Zywall 2 back in service. Work had backed up, I received a handful of wu's, then it stopped, no work from project.

I'm afraid that you getting one new job is not much cheer to me and others, who are not getting any at all!!!

It is strange that yesterday's problem found us getting no uploads, but still getting downloads.
This time we have the reverse. All uploads are successful, but no downloads.
There seems to be no problems at all at the "Server Status"
No comment yet on "Technical News", not even on the previous problem. Probably get that after the hols.

It seems we will have to wait until the "office" opens again.
Will that be today at 1700 hrs UTC? Or will we have to wait another day after the New Year revelries?

I would suggest that it might be better to check th "No new tasks" button for the time being so that BOINC does not waste processing time repeatedly checking for new units. Just switch back occasionally to see if the problem is resolved.

Alas poor SETI. Was it actually all run by Saddam Hussein, hence absence of work?
