I clicked on 'position in sign-up date' on my BOINCStats page and then sorted that by descending order of credit in last month and found 1092 out of 2781 people have credit in last 30 days. But by clicking on a few of the graph symbols for a few of those people near the transition from a few credits in last month and zero in last month all have BOINC credits from other projects, tracked by clicking on their cross project ID. |

Well, I am looking only for Seti credits in the last 30 days. How many of the 7 and 8 year alumni are still crunching for Seti? "Freedom is just Chaos, with better lighting." Alan Dean Foster |

I did the same for my class and found 67 of 164 have credit in the last 30 days. SETI Classic Stats: Workunits processed 28,419 Total CPU time 216,314 hours |

I did the same for my class and found 67 of 164 have credit in the last 30 days. 95 of 295 in mine do. P.S. I presume those who never installed BOINC wouldn’t be included in that 295 (or your 164), so the true percentage of persevering crunchers will be somewhat lower than these figures indicate. |

Didn't realise but I am also 7 years+ having joined 16 May 1999. |

I did the same for my class and found 67 of 164 have credit in the last 30 days. Not from the figures for my sign up date, Seti Classic 19 May 1999 shows a total of 22725 who signed up, or 22615 if you adjust for those that completed at least one Classic unit. My earlier post lists 2781 according to BOINC Stats. So only about 12% of the Classic crunchers transfered to BOINC/Seti, and only 40% of those have credits in the last 30 days for Seti. Therefore only about 5% overall. Andy |

Time zones? My class originally had 4565 members (4516 contributing), making my corresponding approximate percentages: 6.5% transferred; currently active 32% of those, or 2.1% overall. I would expect the ‘early adopters’ of April–May ’99 to have a somewhat higher persistence level, on average, than those of us whose ears weren’t quite so close to the ground, so to speak. |

A six plus year old thread is no longer relevant. Please desticky. I do agree a plain Anni thread would do and that might warrant a sticky. There are enough posters about, so even if it is not a sticky, won't slide of page one. Just my 2 cents worth. Pluto will always be a planet to me. A six plus year old thread is no longer relevant. Please desticky. All theese sticky's is stupid. And confusing as hell. So now we need to hunt for the important stickys. Just name one anni thread and be done with it. [/quote] Old James |
