Hi !

i added the http_server_name, http_server_port, http_user_name, and hhtp_user_passwd to the client_state.xml also i set the HTTP_PROXY, HTTP_USER_NAME and HTTP_USER_PASSWD environment variables. boinc tries to connect and uses the proxy server but doesn't authenticate with user and password.

any hints ?

found something in the windows group, added
use_http_auth/
to the client_state.xml file after the
use_http_proxy/
entry, now it does authentication.

i'll give this a try for my linspire cnr signin problem, tks.

woops, read it too fast. that is a lot to do, will try squid first.
