Hi,

I have recently found out that there are 4 accounts under the same user name as myself, could I suggest in future release of this software that the system do a check to apply on one username at any given time?

For example, if one nominates a username when starting up for the first time, the system does a check and reports back to that user if the name they nominate has already been taken or not.

Just a suggestion.

I think that horse has left the barn. There were something like a million accounts created at Seti-Classic and these were transferred to the Boinc-Seti data base. There was never a requirement for unique user ID, only the email was used as a unique account identifier. I'm afraid this idea is a non-starter.

Change the one you do not want to use to useless information. This effectively disables the account from use.
