Having recently completed a batch of work my results show that on the work unit in question it took 252,175.77 seconds to complete, but the results also show Client Error and Compute Error. Does his mean all this effort was for nothing? |

Does his mean all this effort was for nothing? Yes one of your workunits did not finish properly and you will not get credit for it. I believe that error means you need to upgrade your video card drivers. On the positive side you did finish one unit and you did get credit for it. The one you finished took almost 100 hours, that is a bit long for a pc with your speed. Do you run the project 24/7? Or just during certain hours? |

I have the same processor as you do, but yours is running about 1/4 the speed. Yours: Measured floating point speed 215.44 million ops/sec Measured integer speed 495.72 million ops/sec Mine: Measured floating point speed 893.72 million ops/sec Measured integer speed 1610.76 million ops/sec Something is wrong. You need to clean that computer out (dust, etc.), do some tests (Memtest86+ and Prime95 are two good ones), etc. Are you running the screen saver? That can also cause some issues on some machines.
