Hi all,

Just to let you know that I have moved over http://boinc.mundayweb.com/seti2 to use the XML stats. As a result, I have added user and team ranks to user's graphics.

The site is still able to make use of the HTML stats if a user's stats cannot be found in the XML files.

It is also possible for the site to fall back entirely on the XML stats should anything go wrong with the XML stats.

I am now working on an all on one signature for users as well as a single account that will allow users to administer all of their BOINC sigs in one go. This will remove the need for an account for each of my mini-sites.

Watch this space.

Any problems/comments, let me know at admin@boinc.mundayweb.com.

Neil Munday

Neil,
A question that is a little off topic.
When looking at the signiture, it shows your Ranking, Boinc Wide, and at the bottom it shows Credit Position in team. What I was wondering is why it shows me at Rank 206 when there is only 17 people in our Navy Team right now doing Boinc Apparently.

Thanks for all the stats. They are great.

Warm Regards,

Rocky

I think in the case of the BOINC stats, the Rank next to the team seems to be the Team ranking in BOINC, not your Rank within the Team. In my case, it shows the Team as Rank 3000 something... and I'm the only one listed on the team so far LOL. I might need to look for a new BOINC team to join.. hmmmm.. :)

I think it’s a great idea with the ranks showing. Thanks for the improvement to our crunching accounts.

Hi all,

I'm glad you like the new addition to the sigs.

In reply to Digitalis, I have not heard of the LHC@Home project. If you would like to e-mail the details then I will look into adding the project.

At present I am re-organising the databases so that the all-in one accounts can be created so I'll add it once the re-organisation has been done.

I haven't been able to update the Seti BOINC project stats as they'r manually updated at the moment, but more importantly, my web host seems to be having problems as I can't ssh into my account to run the update script or even check my e-mail!

I hope this is sorted ASAP.
