I think it would bepretty cool if you could sort the tasks (VIEW) so that the nearest estimated task is top most etc. On some programs you can just push the description bar and the items are sorted automagically |

If you get a program like BoincView, you can sort by whatever columns you want. The older version of BOINC used to allow for sorting, but something happened with the newer version to stop this (it was a large rewrite of the program to work with more different projects, and SETI enhanced, and different deadline ideals). Since they were kind of in a hurry to get it out the door, a couple things were missed. Even in the last sever updates, because it was not a priority to fix. Someone using the 5.7x can tell us if the sort it back. If it is, great, if not, do not fault the programmers, because there are only about a handful of people working on the software, only a couple of them a full time, they have to meet certain criteria and deadlines, and sometimes do not have time to make it pretty. I am amazed how much these few people do, with the limited staff, resources, etc. they do have. My movie https://vimeo.com/manage/videos/502242 |

Someone using the 5.7x can tell us if the sort it back. I'm using 5.7.2 and the sort feature is not in it. |
