What is error 403, and why do I have to do anything to donate my CPU time? I was cut off from Seti several years ago, and havn't been connected until SETI asked to do it. Now it goes 4900 hours and quits. I don't have the expertise to rectify a problem I didn't cause. HELP!!! |

Leave it alone. The Berkeley servers are having an issue, it is currently around 03:40 Berkeley time, so it will be a few hours before they are back in the office to fix it. My movie https://vimeo.com/manage/videos/502242 |

ALL the other threads o nthe same topic would have been a clue. Error code #403 is a server side error, meaning the problem is in Berkeley, California. When they fix their end, ours will work again. If you are out of units you may want to crunch for other projects until they fix it. And when they do get it fixed maybe increase your "Connect to network about" setting under your account, edit general preferneces. The longer you set it to, the more units you will have on hand to weather the next outage. |
