in seti classic we could place a .gui file into starry night backyard software ,and this show us where we where in space ,what part of the cosmos i was analizing, can we have a tool like that again , i'm not a computer wizard ,i think a apps like that would be fun again

I have no comment on your idea (though I suppose more "cool" gizmos to make the science more interesting are always good ideas), but I wanted to tell you that you should never post your email address in a public forum.

Spambots (programs) crawl the internet constantly looking for email addresses typed in forums like you have done and add them to their lists to be spammed.

Just an FYI.

I believe that there is a BOINCLogX and a BOINC S@H View that in combination will solve your problem. Unfortunately, a quick scan did not turn up any links.
