Hi, another problem... Whenever I try to link my SETI@home/BOINC account to my SETI@home Classic account on the page "Transfer SETI@home Classic account" (http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/sah_email_form.php) I get the error message "Unable to handle request Must supply an email address" allthough I filled in my email adress every time I tried to run this transfer. What can I do? Because of a problem with the classic software I stopped using it. Now I received a mail from SETI@home where I was asked for the reason I quit and got the info, that the problem I had doesn't exist in the BOINC version of the software. So I decided to continue and now can't transfer my account... |

Worked just fine. You date is 15-Sept-2003 and your SETI credits are: SETI@home classic workunits 4 SETI@home classic CPU time 505 hours Nothing else gets chaged. Classic WUs are not compatible with BOINC credits, so your BOINC stats are still 0, like we all started. Your Classic units are in your account. My movie https://vimeo.com/manage/videos/502242 |

When I go into the results in my account it is not even to be seen that I ever ran SETI@home before using the BOINC version! All this is OK? |

COrrect, in fact the database here self cleans, so if you want to run BOINC, and keep your information, you need a 3rd party program that will log that data. The online database would get too large to keep all that information. Only the Master Science Database keeps each WU crunched, and the information for it. Everything was merged into that earlier this year. Your account is fine, nothing should show in the work done, until you start doing BOINC work. Just to reitterate, it will automatically delete out of your listings when the data is validated and moved to the master database. If you click my name and look at my results, it only goes back maximum a few weeks (except a couple of straggler ones that are stuck). My movie https://vimeo.com/manage/videos/502242 |

As suggested click on my name and you will see what you will see if you click on your name. Your Seti Classic stats, nothing else. BTW I can see stats under your name now. |
