I have a couple of wishes that I would like to see in a future release:

1) A Report Deadline resource override - If a Deadline comes within 24 hours of the current time, override the resource settings and run the project in question until completed, then return to the regular sharing settings

2) Actual resource sharing information - This would be nice to have in the projects tab true resource share information percentage, say so you can tell if one project is down for several days, how much other projects on that machine got and how much the down project would have to run to balance back with the other projects

Thank you for your time.

In answer to number one, this is how it used to operate. It processed by order of deadline regardless of resource share.

Apparently with 4.xx, it is capable of missing deadlines due to preemption.

Instead of a fixed amoount of time to the deadline, it should be based on the estimate of remaining time. If a CPDN WU is estimated to take 2 more weeks of CPU time, but it only has one more week of time before the deadline, that WU should have taken over the CPU last week.
