Hi,

I started an account with SETI quite some time ago, but between moving around and getting new computers and such, I lost track of the account login information. I believe that I've found the "profile" for my old account at http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/show_user.php?userid=1434142 Is there a way that I might be able to recover the email address and possibly the password I used for this account?

Obviously, someone would need to make sure that I am the authentic creator of said account. I'm more than willing to give up any useful information to regain control of this account.

I'm in the same situation. Would love to get back credit on my old account. I created a new when they forced the BOINC client on me.

Hope you get an answer.

Me too. I have 12626 credits that I would like to add to my current account. How can we do this?

If you are talking about Classic units go to the site I provided the link to in my message. If you are trying to link 2 Boinc accounts, then that is not possible. Just pick one and crunch for it only.

Hi Mikey

I tried to do as you suggested, but with no luck. I'm positive that my old account mail is the same as i have now, since i've had it for the last 5 years, and havent used others. The page that you directed me to tells me that it's not a valid classic account! But if I do a name search in the profiles area, my name shows up... ?? any clues ??

Thanks in advance ....

Gremlins in the database? I honestly don't know, if you are sure the email is the same and that does not work you are out of luck I guess.
If you click on my name on the left you will see all that y9ou would get anyway. Just a couple of lines recognizing your effort. Everyone starts at zero in Boinc. The numbers are figured differently and there are no salads in Science.
