U.S. Geological Survey Says no Seismic Activity in N Korea..In Last 48 Hours.

Who is lying?

Those who are lying are the self-same terrorists who brought you the sleight of hand which was 9/11 (watch while in a state of hypnosis the fire and smoke at the upper floors, as the bomb blasts are going off in the basement of WTC 2 [North Tower]), who release the Foley scandal and the blowback from Democrats, just in time to make you lean toward the Democrats on November 7th (and re-inforce your belief in the system), and who now bring you the fake Korean nuclear test. The sham which is American "democracy" is a concatenation of representatives not of you and me, but of and for corporations and their lucrative bribes. Don't delude yourself that the rivalry between the two faces of the same corrupt coin are working for you. In recesses you will never see, they co-operate fully to ensure their corruption-conveyor stays well-greased.

Chalk up the fake nuclear test to the Republican/Democrat hysteria generator, who, no matter which party controls one or two out of three branches of government come November 8th, will thrive on your terror and the Southeast Asian nuclear arms race (sales) engendered, which you will support. You're being played.

Go back to sleep, America. Everything is good.

Doesn't this belong in the "Myths Legends Conspiracies (5) thread?

South Korea's Yonhap news agency, in a dispatch carried by The Associated Press, quoted an unidentified North Korean official as saying, "We hope the situation will be resolved before an unfortunate incident of us firing a nuclear missile comes."

North Korea appears to have conducted another nuclear test, Japanese national broadcaster NHK said on Wednesday.

TOKYO (AP) - A strong earthquake in northern Japan on Wednesday may have led the Tokyo government to suspect that North Korea had conducted a second nuclear test.

In Washington, White House spokesman Blair Jones said U.S. officials had not detected any evidence of additional North Korea testing.

"Japanese officials are now saying that this occurrence may be related to an earthquake in northern Japan," Jones said.

I really wanted to respond to the whack-o 9/11 conspiracy job (my aunt saw the plane go into the pentagon not a missile) but I'll leave it there. Don't you see the hijacking warning?

Anyways, I'm going to South Korea next month! Got the embassy on speed dial.

Kim Jong-Il is crazy. I mean the guy loves James Bond, and his HEIR-apparent son was arrested on a false passport in Japan when he was trying to go to Tokyo Disneyland! I say we give Jong-Il a sneak peak at the next Bond movie, and invite them to Tokyo Disneyland and in exchange he give up the nuke program.
The truth is out there. Or in here. Who left the door open? (my dog comes running back in) There's the truth!

Glad to hear he's closer to "home" sir. Big relief!

N. Korea, in my opinion, is trying to back the US into a corner by proclaiming that the sanctions applied are all the US's fault, and we should negotiate one-on-one to "resolve" the issues.

Of course, anything that N. Korea decides to do in the future will be based on their view that it's all our fault. Somehow, I'm not buying that. N. Korea refuses to negotiate in the presence of the five other UN members that have opposed the recent actions of Il, and who support the sanctions approved by the UN. (for what good that does)

Any negotiations with Il should have an audience. Imagine the scenario where the US conducted a bi-lateral discussion, and then N. Korea being N. Korea does what it wants now proclaiming that we are directly responsible.

Kind of like counseling with a sociopath and having no audio/video (or other witnesses) and expecting the solutions to stick.

Not gonna work.

North Korea threatens war against U.S.

By HANS GREIMEL, Associated Press Writer

SEOUL, South Korea - North Korea warned on Wednesday that increased U.S. pressure over the regime's reported nuclear test could be considered an act of war, and South Korea suggested it would build up its conventional arsenal to deal with its belligerent neighbor.....

....."If the U.S. keeps pestering us and increases pressure, we will regard it as a declaration of war and will take a series of physical corresponding measures," the North's Foreign Ministry said.....

How convenient that N. Korea is pulling this crap while the majority of U.S. troops are occupied in Iraq.

How convenient, also, that N. Korea is doing this stuff while at the same time, the world is trying to figure out what to do about Iran's nuclear program.

Il may be a madman, but his timing seems to be perfect.

Good point.

Also, as the US seems to have the burden of enforcing peace around the globe, I find it more than iritating that no nation, or nations, have stepped up to the plate to say "enough" and back it up.

Just a lot of hand-wringing, and armchair quarterbacking.

In the absence of additional troops being called into duty (god forbid that scenario) we DO have a few missles hanging around.

Not the best scenario no matter how you look at it.

Unfortunatley, Il knows that he has the U.S. in a tight spot. He figures that he can pretty much get away with anything he wants because of our commitments elsewhere.

I agree.

Il has an advantage because of all the other stuff going on. He knows that the US would have a hard time getting support for serious measures against them.
