I have used the activate the account link contained here http://setiweb.ssl.berkeley.edu/sah_email_form.php
to try to activate my seti@home classic acount several times. I get the positive feedback "account found" but I never get the email with my accoutn ID. I would like to keep my account considering I have over 1500 work units and 4 years of time on it. Is there any way to check why I am not recieving this email? It is going to a hotmail account which is still valid and works. It is not showing up in junk mail either.
Thanks
Derek

If the account was found, you can try using this to have your password send once again.
Hope you will get it this time.

Greetings from Belgium.

The usual cause of this symptom is having the email caught in a SPAM trap someplace. The other cause that I have heard is overloaded servers that take a while to get around to sending the email. Try looking through the spam quarintine areas, and if it is not there, waiting for a couple of hours might be what it takes.

Of couse there may be another difficulty that I am not aware of.
