Is the SETI server down today, perhaps? My BOINC program was purring along like a kitten on a dairy farm one minute and then I go to get back on my computer and I notice all of these messages in the message tab stating "temporary failed upload of ........ ( Work Unit )". If anyone knows anything about this issue, your help would be greatly appreciated!

I'm also having the same issue. I needed a new cable modem which was installed today and I thought it might have been related to that. Is there something wrong on a server? I have nine tasks waiting to upload and another three in a couple of hours.

Click on the Messages tab of the BOINC Manager window.

If you can see the following message in the list:

"15/10/2006 14:59:08|SETI@home|Temporarily failed upload of 13jn02aa.6561.25312.659648.3.16_7_0: error 403"

Or similar, it just means a communications problem with the S@h upload/download server.

This happens every now and then. It affects all crunchers. Once the crew at Berkeley clear the problem, all your completed WUs will upload. Let them upload automatically, as this will keep the load on the server within manageable limits.

I have this problem at least on my Pentium dual core processor. I am waiting for my older computer to finish another seti problem to see if it uploads.
