	On this webpage, it should normally be possible to recover the Classic password using the user_info.sah file from Seti@Home Classic. For an unknown reason, the form doesnâ€™t recover the Classic password anymore. Berkeley is aware of the problem and Matt will have to try to fix it once he is back. 	Any idea when this will be fixed??? Unfortunately it will not be fixed. That page was broken since the time the old database of Classic was brought down, some 6 months ago. Reviving this database would ask a lot of work.

	@ Luiz Henrique and @ Sutehk, You can link your Classic account with the one of Boinc by using this form. Combining both account will only work if you still have the Classic password and your original e-mail address of Classic, otherwise it will not. On that page, in the outmost upper part you need to fill in the e-mail address of Seti Classic and in the lower part "... or if you've already created a SETI@home/BOINC account and want to link it to your SETI@home Classic account:" fill in the Email address of your existing SETI@home/BOINC account the Account key of your SETI@home/BOINC account and your SETI@home Classic password and use the "link to existing account" button. If this is not working, then some of the given info is not correct.

	I have some trouble with my classic account. I do not remember the password to the account and the e-mail address does not exist anymore. I also have a boinc account and would like to link the old with the new as to not loose my achievements. What can be done?

Matt will not be able to fix it. Sorry I don't have any better news.

	Well, I've tried some 87 times to retrieve my lost password to link my OLD and my NEW accounts. No go. ...Since I can't link the two, I'd like to make my old account go away. Is THAT possible?

No Scientists never delete anything, but if you can log into it, I think the answer to that is no you cannot, you could change the info in it to something false though. ____________

	So there is no way to get your account merged? I have my password to the classic account but when I use the form when I put in the password and supply a email it says on the next page to supply an email? Thanks

	I am trying to use the form when your email is invalid. Why my email is invalid I have no idea. All I have is my password and a link to a group I created! I really want my 421 completed packets! This is not true. Your Classic credit will show on your account (click my userid on the left and you will see what I mean), but we all started at 0 on BOINC. ____________
