I have an idle computer in another room
with out internet access. can I setup
setiathome and tranfer data downloads
and uploads between computors with
a flash memory? laptop has DSL data
transfer. don't want to purchase duplicate
equipment.

Short answer...no you cannot do what you are suggesting.
Long answer....just run a cable to the other ocmputer and then set it so it gets enough units to run about a week and then disconnect the cable and only reconnect it when the pc needs workunits. Berkeley has it 'in the owrks' to make it possible to run Boinc on non internet pc's, but it is very low on the list right now. When it will move up, they are not saying.
Also it may not be such a good idea to post your real email address in a public forum, there are people that come here that deal in those things. You also may want to review your spam settings.
