If you have no work on your system you could detach and reattach. I had trouble awhile ago and that worked. I also had to merge the new computer that it created. On other note. I have heard that the twenty four hour quota is reset a midnight but I have never watched it that close. It is almost twelve here. Sorry I didn't think of it sooner. |

Somehow surfing around in the php directory yesterday I deleted all my settings, including the " Keep enough work on disk to last between" setting. They were all blank. I dont know how the server decided how much to send me but when I got home from work today I had 60 WU's waiting, along with the daily quota message. |

Hey Heffed, I had to dump all 140 WU's I had received on 3 boxes, this morning because of hanging. Sometime today I received 61 WU's on 1 box, 31 on the second box and 55 on the third box. I don't know if this has anything to do with the "Sticking" but I downloaded the 4.05 setup from the cpdn site. It kept making all my computers hang. When I downloaded it from the site directed off of Boinc Home Page, it all appears to be working fine. Make any sense to you? Regards, Rocky |

Is this Win 95/98? There is a problem with win95/98. It would be helpful if more information was inclided with your problems. I.E. OS MEMORY CPU TYPE You get the picture, the more info the easier to pin down the problem. Hope this helps. Fred Fred BOINC Alpha & BOINC Beta Tester |

Thanks, Poorboy, I don't know what the problem was. I have still been trying to load Climate Preditction onto the Boinc Platform that Seti is on, and I never can get it going. The downloads always end in Checksum MD5 Errors? The larger files the 4.20MB and the 1.01MB, 2.20 MB files seem to only Download if I keep the connection busy with surfing the web or something, otherwise they stick and I have to reset. When they do finish the same error all the time. I have tried on all three boxes. I do't know what I am doing wrong. Have A Great DAy, Rocky |

@Heffed... >You said you dumped 27 WUs. Were any of those downloaded the same day, and how many new ones did you get? The morning of the transition, I initially downloaded 27 wu's, something was whacked, so I reset and detached, after that I got nothing, and of course you know what happened later to the website. I read in another post it is almost impossible to exceed the daily quota unless you factor in the failed downloads. So in short Heffed I got nothing after the dump. Yes, all the 27 wu's came the same day |
