I run BOINC on my laptop. Because of travel I am sometimes out of contact with the internet for days at a time, but still use my computer. Is there a way to acquire multiple tasks so that even though I may not be able to report for several days, I can keep processing new results?

- your account
- General Preferences
- Edit preferences
- Set Connect to network about every to 5 to 10 days (10 is maximum).
- Save changes to the site with the button Update Preferences at the bottom of the page.

-- Open Boinc Manager.
-- Projects tab.
-- Select Seti@Home
-- Press Update.

And then wait for a couple of minutes so your cache fills.
Do know that some results have short deadlines (4 days), while others have extremely long deadlines (3 weeks).
