I have just had a Bios crash (battery failed) and I restored everything to normal after replacing it Date and time were restored manually All went well booted up (did my housekeeping) Opened the Boinc Manager There were red messages galore telling me that the work units were out of date and the Year date on the work units?..... 1901 ! Even Windows backdating doesn't go that far back (think it's the late 1980's) And I'd only sent off (and reported) a completed work unit on the end of the last session Can you ask the software guys to check out this Bug? Or is it a known issue? I deleted all the work units and updated the program (and the new units are working OK) |

I have just had a Bios crash (battery failed) The problem was your system reporting the wrong date to Boinc. In actual fact there was no need to abort the WUs. Boinc could have continued to crunch them dispite the overdue date on your system. The project know what the correct due date is and would have accepted your results and given you credit.
