Anyone know anything about this error? It's a 200GB hard drive allocated into a 50GB partition w/ 7GB used. I've left the storage preferences at their default so I shouldn't be going over the limits. 1GB of ram in this box too so I doubt that's the "storage space" it's refering to. 3.19 SETI@Home Informational message -9 result_overflow NOTE: The number of results detected exceeds the storage space allocated. |

Actually, it's not an error. All it means is that the work unit has a lot of "noise" in it, and to fully analyze it would generate more output than it allows. It has nothing to do with your computer - it's the work unit itself. You'll still get credit for it, though it will only be a tiny amount of credit as it only took a tiny amount of work. |

Thanks for that explanation, Darren. I was wondering about that message as well...you're right, those workunits create a tiny amount of credit :/ |
