I've used boinc_cli.exe to install itself as a service, and gave the account it is running under full access to the BOINC folder. It starts properly and is merry, but unlike some services I have, it stops when a user logs out.

I have a couple servers that I want to run BOINC on, and they will rarely have someone logged in. How to keep BOINC/SETI@home running / ignore service stop requests?

The only way that I have found to take of this so far is a restart after you have the Service installed and set up. After that, it started correctly. If you can't restart your servers right away, start the Service remotely and restart when you can.

Brief answer, as I've already posted this:

Source - downloaded
Bug - fixed
Source - compiled
New version - runs after logging off
BOINC + SETI - down too much, been unable to send in fix
