Right now, it appears that shutting down and restarting the BOINC gui will reset the "stdout.txt" file. It saves the prior ONE, but not beyond that.
So if I shut down my system when I'm not at home every day, I lose all that info.

says that the info from the messages tab is also written to a "messages.txt" file, but that is not true. It is only in the "stdout.txt" file and that file is not persistent.
It would be nice to have a single logfile that keeps growing and growing and...
