Why are you not provide a optimized binary for SSE/3D Now instructions sets? I've used one from http://naparst.name/, it's working about two times faster vs your binary. Your binary don't use CPU time of volunteers efficiently (for modern CPU's).

First, SETI never offered an optimized app. That was provided by third parties and wasn't officially supported. SETI cannot help or change the fact that no one is providing a new optimized app currently.

Also, the optimized apps only add about 10-20% improvement over the current v5.15 app. It's quite optimized already. The 2x improvements were only true with the older v4.18 app.

80-90% efficiency is good enough for most. If not, download the source and compile an optimized app yourself. If you cannot, you'll just have to wait for another third party to do so.
