I have installed boinc 4.05 (for use with climateprediction.net), and now s@home won't run as it only supports boinc 3.2

Does anyone know when they will update?

EDIT: just saw another post about this too.

If you follow setiBOINC news page for a while you know that tomorrow mean 2-3 days.

Well concerning I could not get any downloads, upload any I decided what the heck and installed the v4.05

Maybe they will get it up and running soon....

And when it is up and running

LEAVE IT ALONE FOR A WHILE ! ! ! !

They speak about 4.x transition 25/8 on for the first time:
"August 25, 2004
A trio of splitters are now up and producing new work.
We plan to release major version 4 of BOINC and SETI@Home tomorrow."

You must upgrade to 4.x client when and only when it is on the SetiBoinc Download page: http://setiweb.ssl.berkeley.edu/download.php

No other official binary exist.

The only official Boinc site is Berkeley develop site, where you can download the source code and compile yourself (but on Windows only for now require to buy MSVC):
http://boinc.berkeley.edu/

But for binary you need to wait that every project compile and test in conjunction with his crunch part and put on his download page.

Not exactly true...

The 4.05 you can download from CPDN is official.
