Message 17934 - Posted: 26 Aug 2004, 20:37:25 UTC

I've been getting the message almost all day today that that "No Schedulers Responded."

I see that they had a bug that they have fixed already.

Any ideas why the schedulers aren't responding and when they may start working/responding again?

I finally got it to get through to a scheduler, but now, I'm getting this message:

I have been getting the message all day:
"Scheduler RPC to http://setiboinc.ssl.berkeley.edu/sah_cgi/cgi failed"

Until just a few minutes ago it connected and all the "Ready to Report"
WU's were sent. One of my systems is on the last two wu's and should
finish in about an hour. I am going to do the "Reset" as recommended on
the news page when those complete. May be that we will have to reset to
get new work but I would not really think this would be necessary. I think
there is just not enough work ready at this time and some lucky few are
getting wu's as they are split and released.

Due to the database performance, the transitioners are roughly running 12 hours behind our current time.

Basically that means that from the time we fixed the splitters it'll take 12 hours before the transitioners hit the new batch of workunits.
