I wish there was a way to locate the position within the Top Teams List. As it is you must page through a lot of the pages of 20 teams until you locate yours.

Hey!

Yes! I'd like this too. Maybe an easy search-function within the teamlist would do this.

Another approach would be a link to the correct position of the team in the teamlist out of the team-page.

Time is the enemy of all your ideas!
Meaning in time this should be done, there are just a few more important issues going on right now! Like getting another validater up and working correctly, etc. The project JUST went live, and yes a couple of days is JUST! There are over 5 million Seti Classic subscribers that could come over, how many will is unkown at this time. Some obviously never completed their first unit, more didn't do 10 units, more quit after their frist landmark/badge, etc.
But the potential is still there. And then don't forget all the people doing the other distributed programs that will all be doing Boinc and have Seti as an option. Just as we will have those programs available to us as soon as they are ported over.

Sure, I understand that there are a lot of Seti Classic folks. I started with BOINC and never ran classic at all. I always ran the beta and watched as the Top Teams list became cut into lists of 20 instead of a continous list. With a relational database all it takes is another index linked to the team name to indicate the position in the top teams list (and I believe that this already exists) since it would be dumb to have to recalc and create the top teams list any other way. Lots of folks don't really want to see the list itself, they just want to know where on the list they are. Same goes for the team members list. Anyway, this topic is just a Wish List and that is what I was wishing for .
