I have had one work unit load and getting this was a struggle. When it started processing it said it would take 6 hours. 28 hours later it is still going with 3 hours to go. This is a lot slower than the old set@home.

ANy ideas

Open your task manager and see what other processes you have running that are competing with BOINC for CPU cycles. It shouldn't be much (if any) slower than S@H classic.
