Ok! What's going on here? I have been trying to reply to a message posted here and twice my post did NOT get posted. I have replied to messages before, without this problem. L8R....
Also, and this may be a hint, when I go to post, the system asks me to login even though I am already logged in. L8R again....

Maybe the cookie monster has got confused ... Try going to "Your Account" and log out, that should clear the cookie, then log in again and try... Other than that, no idea!

Hey, good idea! I think I will also change my modem setting so that it won't turn itself off every 5 minutes. Thanks.... L8R....

Hey Paul, it didn't work. I logged off and reset my modem to not shut down. Then I logged back in here and left my reply and it still asked me to log in and did not post my reply. Do you know if there is a size limit to a post? There's one post with a giant picture of the Fuehrer of Microsoft, so that tells me there is no limit since graphics are huge amounts of data. L8R....

Silly question ... You did check the "Remember Account ID" box when you logged in?

I think there's a limit on the size of an image based on the height (in pixels) - not too sure on that one.

EDIT:

Ah! - I think there may be something amiss in Boincland - I have the opposite, I can't log out. Logout, exit the browser, restart go to Your Account and I'm still logged in.

Just been playing - this is the login cookie:

I never check the buttons to remember acount IDs or passwords. I just copy my ID from the e-mail I got from BOINC containing it and paste it in the login box. Which reminds me.... Why such an oddball ID? It's virtually impossible to remember. I'd change it if I could, just like with the "Classic" SETI. L8R....

I just checked to make sure - Yes "Content" is your validation code.

Can close the browser and manually change the contents of the cookie?

I just logged out checked the cookie, logged back in, checked the cookie and the Content does not change. Hmmmm.... I figure that the validation code is somehow checked against the account ID to make sure I'm who I am. Hmmmm.... But, why does it not get cleared when you log out? You'd think that that would be a security concern. Hmmmm.... Hey, gotta go take care of some business (away from my PC). Can't spend all my time here when I have other things to do. Be back in a while.... L8R....

Try DELETEING the cookie with the bad info...

THEN try logging back in.
