When I try to open the graphics window, all I get is a blank window with no graphics. Any suggestions on how to get this thing to show the graphics?

I believe that to use the graphics, that your system must support OpenGL. That's a pretty old technology, so I assume that you have the required elements.

How do I tell if my system supports OpenGL? And how can I make it support OpenGL if it doesn't currently?

A search on Google for "OpenGL test" will return a number of links for utilities that may be helpful.

You can download "OpenGL Extensions Viewer" at this location.
It will allow you to see if you can run OpenGl applications.

Greetings from Belgium.
