Yes: I know this is BETA -- oops make that semi-live!

Yes: I appreciate there have been problems and that the Berkeley gurus are working as hard as they can.

I have not gotten any new credit since Aug 8, even though my RAC until then was 223+ per day.

When somebody gets new credit, will they please announce the event by posting an appropriate message to this thread. Until then I will subscribe to this thread and simply wait for an email to announce we are finally being granted credit again.

Thanks!

Did you really got new credits on Aug 8 ?
I am asking because Last time I have received some
was way before that date. I think the last credits
update for ALL users was more like mid July.

I stand corrected!

From my incomplete records:

1) My credits have been the same since 03 Aug - for sure.

2) I got some credits between 28 Jul and 03 Aug, but do not have a record of the exact day.

As I understand it, more than one user has to return matching results before credit is given.

So, everytime someone decides to stop until someone gets credit, the work units they've been assigned are "lost" and won't be reassigned for two weeks.

So the other person who had those work units won't get credit for them for at least two weeks, plus processing time, plus however long it takes for the validators to match up results and grant credits.

Ned,

We all thank you for repeating information found on other threads.

The purpose of THIS THREAD is to raise a flag when somebody (anybody) starts getting credit again.

So far NOBODY has reported getting any credit since August 3.

Sigh.... crunching away and no records to show for it.

It'll work out, I hope it's soon though.

You're welcome, JTA.

... and I'd like to thank you, because if you have the pair to one of the work units I'm crunching today, it's going to be a while before either of us gets credit for that one.

Besides, what's the difference? We're talking about using idle cycles anyway.

We were just able to turn back on the validator after fixing a couple of bugs related to the directory fanout change.

People should start to see there credits go up now since there are several weeks worth of results to process.
