After the server outages during the last weeks I continued with SETI classic. These WU were not counted on my BOINC account. Furthermore I returned to BOINC with my 3 computers today. Although I returned several results there were no results counted. What shall I do? Do you all experience the same problems? Please post! Thanx! |

I too was running Classic while BOINC had its hiccups. BOINC thinks I have only done 319 classic workunits (a value taken when they took a snapshot to create BOINC accounts a few months back) - I have actually done 505. I guess when (if!) classic is closed down the final tally will be updated on BOINC accounts. As for my BOINC credit - that has not increased for about a month now with the various problems. I guess they will credit the WUs I crunched eventually. |

No ones received any credits since about a month or more. With all the problems Berkeley encoutered since last update I would be very surprised if we get credits for the last month works. I hope we will anyway. |

The number of classic WU's on your BOINC account is the number of WU's you had when your BOINC account was created. It will not be updated. ==================== BOINC user, team and country stats |

Can't get Boinc working, and basically turning their backs on Classic, but can't understand why there are so many complaints, Hmmmmm.......... Hopefully the good news is that Classic will stay online until Boinc works, and most of us will be dead before then. |

My understanding is that when they do stop classic they will take another snapshot of classic to show on Boinc. I had 503 WU on classic when I register for boinc. I now have 760 and hope to have 1000 when they pull the plug on classic. |

Actually it is however many you had on May 14th or 15th. That is the last database snapshot they took. And as Petit just mentioned, Rom (one of the devs) posted on here saying that they were working on another snapshot once seti-classic is shut down. ------------------------------------------- - A member of The Knights Who Say NI! i wonder how many orphaned Classic accounts there are. I have 1600 units, but under an account i no longer have an address for. When @Home got sold to attbi.com, there was little or no time to correct the personal info. I have a few passwords i used then, but looks like it still has a default password on it, and no way to change it. |

However, I still get e-mail from my attbi address oon occasion. So, if you need the actual password you should be able to get it still. |
