There is source code available at http://setiboinc.ssl.berkeley.edu. I have not tried building any of these sources, but others have, and it is possible. There is also a nightly tarball with all of the most recent changes.

Good Luck.

Currently there is no official binary version of boinc or seti_boinc for x86_64.

But you can - as John McLeod VII sayed - compile it yourself.

See http://boinc.berkeley.edu/anonymous_platform.php for mor instructions.

If you arn't able to compile it yourself, you can download the versions for linux (x84_64) from my homepage:

http://www.daluna.de/boinc/boinc_3.18_x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu (boinc 3.18)
http://www.daluna.de/boinc/setiathome-3.8.x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu (seti_boinc 3.08)

But remember: this is no official release. Downlads from unknown sources can always contain virusses and other bad things.

I see. Is the policy now then that, other than the most popular binaires, one should build for his own target?

Interesting...
