As per "Matts" post I have detached and attached to
the seti project, flushing 30 wu's into cyberspace.
Waiting to see how long, and how many "defers"
before I am able to get some wu's. Since Aug 11th
My two "rinky-dinky" machins have crunched 90+
wu's, all for naught...

it's hot as hell..

That's also what I have done. I am confident in Matt's
"non official" statement. It looks obvious to me that
since the DB has been backed up those WU we have queued
won't match with the current DB. Don't worry.

So that's where the August weather went. It's more like late September here in Iowa.

I detached and reattached one computer. Before I did it, I noticed this particular computer had gone missing from my profile. When I reattached, the account section of the projects tab is blank. This computer only got put on last week, the one day when everything worked and after 8-11, I guess. Once the schedulers start to respond everything will be ok, right?

8-19-2004

I detached and tried to reattach but I don't think it completed the process completely. In the messages it says "Host ID not assigned yet".

The last time I did this I ended up creating a new computer in my computer list. I was able to merge the two because I got to it before I earned any credits. The mistake I made though was I merged the new one to the old one and lost my older number. I wish I had of clicked on the old computer number and then did the merge.

merge always results in the newest (largest) number
