would whoever planted the link for "geeks amazing" please remove it...it is persistantly asking for a login and it's extremely annoying.

I was noticing it, and it may be related to your sig somehow. I noticed when I was getting the message, your sig was not displaying correctly.

I AdBlocked all stats images a while ago because they tend to load a bit slowly.

i'm thinking that this prompt may have been in my sig...possibly put there by the mirror that mundayweb was using to transmit it.

That could explain why I haven't seen this. I have turned off showing sigs in my forum preferences.

i'm pretty sure it was the sig...there is another report in Neil's forum about this issue on a thread i posted...possibly a mis-configured mirror...meantime i haven't been attacked the the annoying login box for at least 10 minutes...i'm gonna bring back my sigs and see if it is still doing it.

Yes you're right, and the domain name is GODADDY.COM.

Oops, it's KCMOBILEHOMES.COM.

i don't really think that "geeks amazing" is an evil website...just that the log-in may have gotten thrown in with the sig somehow.

If it's just an embedded technical problem than there probly isn't anything to worry about.

But if not, it could be a way to get names through the window's user input.
