I have signed up for Predictor and Pirates as well as Seti. I have selected 100 for both Seti and Predictor, bit only 10 for Pirates, since they say that they are stll "playing around" with BOINC.

All three projects have been defined within BOINC and show in the "WORK" tab of the GUI, but each has 33.33% rather than the 47-47-6 that I would expect.

I have connected at least once with each project.

Any ideas, anyone.

If a project is not responding, it's resource share will jump to 100. What sort of messages are you getting from Pirates?

Another thought... Did you update each project after setting the preferences?

AS far as I can tell, 10 and 100 appear to be the same number to BOINC, so I use 1700 for seti and 100 for Predictor and 100 for Pirates, which gives me 90% Seti, 5% Predictor and 5% Pirates. Never was any good at Math, lol.

This 'SPACE' for Rent.

The pirates site has not been responding to schedulers very well, and it is entirely possilble that when it does, suddenly the reported value will go to what you wish. I have pirates set to an extremely low number (less than one), and it works just fine, but I had to have a completely successful connection before it was updated.

Their servers often drop for sometimes only a few hours. If you catch one of these, you're back to 100 until you get another successful communication.

I've still only seen one WU from them...

same here... seti-predictor-pirates set at 70-20-10 ... boinc share got totally fucked up... but since i detached pirates, boinc share is correct.

seems like if a project doesn't have its schedulars online the boinc share gets reset to default value.
