If there is enough demand I have one set up and ready to go...

It has more capibilities for mods and it also has word sensors and smiles... plus it would be a little less demanding on seti's system if there was an alternate message board...

I'm not really interested either, to try to follow yet another board and help people out there. I have enough work around here. Plus it would easily get confusing, as some read something on your board they think is true, while others read something here and go flame your side.

These forums are ready by at least two (true) people of Seti and one (true) developer of BOINC (volunteers left out). What will your boards put against that? (these are the only true official Seti forums)

I would have all the mods make sure news and info is correct and any incorect info would be corrected.

Also I would have the mods make sure no flaming goes on and they would keep it as a friendly helpful place with no flaming, nor any personal attacks of any sort.

Im also sure there would be some people more willing to help somewhere where they will not get any personal attacks on them so it would alow more people to help out.

Again thanks for the replys and I will see what happens in the next day or two.

There is a perfectly good alternative to this forum (when it's down of course) on BOINCstats ;)

It does cover all projects though.
