I just thought to point out a fact that i think many might miss, and i point this directly to the Seti team cus its becoming a more serious eventuality every day.

At the current rate we can expect to see many of the key corperate sponcers backing out!!

This is worse than it sounds cus seti is dependent on the expert help of buisnesses like Sun Microsystems and Snap Appliance Ect, just as much as the cash.
Proof of this in the bullitins ('getting Sun in to look at it')('Getting a new Snap Appliance box') and so on.
This actualy looks tremedously bad for computer and internet companys that are involved as you can guess.

I'd just like to add to this that i think its a great credit and deserves respect that these big contributers have so far had as much patience as many of the rest of us and stuck by as long as they have already.

Doesn't that assume that the sponsors are not in it for the long term? If they are in for the long term then they understand that there will be bumps in the road. That is what the current problems, bumps in the road of a long haul!
Getting the sponsors to participate in the fixing of the problems is an IDEAL way to keep them interested in the project AND see that there support is being used to its fullest!
