Tried to update forum preferences; system would not accept updates. Any ideas/suggestions?

What type of error did you receive?

/edit - Well, I tried to update mine, and received the dreaded page could not be displayed. I went back in and just uploaded an avatar.

I didn't receive any error at all; the 'submit changes' button didn't work.
