Message 239370 - Posted: 29 Jan 2006, 17:19:01 UTC - in response to Message 239341.

Eeehh, no?! Mike, are you implying that I want only my needs fullfilled and that I don't want to give anything back? That I'm selfish in my demands?

No, nothing so mean or personal. You gave me an opportunity to speak on one of my favourite topics: human behaviour in relationships.
I don't think men and women are all that dissimilar, though I get into trouble trying to explain it. I don't think people like to be seen as being too transparent.

You see I'm something of a story teller, I just don't normally tell stories in this media (writting of any kind. It's damn hard).

This is actually one of my favorite fads too, and I have pondered on this in many years. If you want to compare notes with me, mail me, as I don't want to elaborate further in public on this board or somewhere else, for that matter.

Did you spot my third post? I'd hoped you would respond to that ;-)

Yes, I spotted it, and no, I didn't get your meaning, sorry. :-(

Again, if you want to, explain it to me in private.

So Es99, do you want to skip dinner and the movie? We could just go some place nice, and chill out. Getting to know each other?

Oh, by the way. That bit you didn't remember in the bible. Paul Simmon covered it all years ago ;-)

Let me guess, you read this post before I edited it and you're the millionaire Karaoke loving nerd aged 25 to 40 Brad Pitt look alike that I was searching for.

Will you settle for a guy working for a Ph.D. who does enjoy karaoke, is in the 25-40 age range, and ... ummm ... well, I will have to send pix to see if I even come close to being a Brad Pitt look-a-like.

LOL.

BTW, nice pic on your profile.

P.S. - Is Paul Simmon a cross between Paul Simon & Gene Simmons?

Oh yes, Jeffrey, I think we better have to. I have this tendency to throw the Bible to the other side of the room during the moments of passion, and I suppose you don't like Bible throwings. Am I right?! ;-)

Knock yourself out...
It's just a book...
A book full of wisdom...
But nonetheless, just a book... ;)

(Now I know why there are Bibles in hotel rooms...)

I missed your comment Fuzzy...
I do hope you didn't take my closing statement as a personal attack...
If so, my appologies, as that wasn't my intention... ;)

Seems sometimes ppl edit themselves before ever posting, and let us know they were going to say something but decided not to.

No no, not at all. I just had a second thought about what I posted, so I took it away right after and didn't have anything else to put instead.

But it was about Bibles in hotelrooms and how they're often used. But just forget it. Nothing to see here. :-)

as long as it is only books and similar small packages that get thrown about during the throws of passion because the repair bill to the room could end up more expensive than the minibar otherwise!!!!!!!!!
