Logging BOINC client

Would be nice if there was an option to log the client "messages" to a local logfile. Sometimes PC's need to be rebooted, in which case, all the most recent local messages are lost. So, how about a "tick-box" to (optionally) allow these messages to be kept in a local "logfile". rgds, Timbo |

You probably use Windows ... and never used a CLI application. Look in your BOINC folder for files named: stdout.txt or stderr.txt and old saved .old |

In the BOINC directory there is a stdout.txt and a stdout.old. The stdout.txt is the full log from the current run of BOINC. stdout.old is the full log from the previous run of BOINC. |
