One thing you do not use there is the IMG tags.
Might be that your server isn't allowed, you may want to consider using Photobucket.

try using the link as <img scr="http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c232/Gh0stUK/Alien.jpg"> if it needs HTML links. You are now using phpBB tags. If they are not supported, then they don't work.

So if the message next to that box is still:
"Team name, HTML version
You may include HTML formatting, link, and image tags. If you don't know HTML, just leave this box blank."

Then you need to use HTML formatting. The one I gave above does so.

Saying that... It could also be that you need to use it as:
<img scr='http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c232/Gh0stUK/Alien.jpg'>

(Single quotes, not double, sorry.)

I just tested the link above on my "Break the forums" team and that link works.
