If i install BOINC then it will start up correctly, it will load the SETI-program and also a datafile. And then, just after it indicates that it's going to calculate, it reboots my system.

I tried to switch back to the classic version but this one (although it always ran correctly before) now seems to have developed a similar problem, only it shuts down my pc instead of rebooting.

(Windows XP Home, fully patched, Norton Internet Security 2004, Athlon 2000 XP, 512 MB Ram).
